Loved the fact that the owners dogs are wandering about, they’re really friendly and clearly loving life!
We stayed with friends in two separate caravans, we had asked for a grass pitch but on arrival it was raining so were offered the alternative hard standing which we gladly took, nice touch from the owners.
We spoke to the owners a fair bit and they’re friendly and chatty.
There are also a couple of clamping pods if you aren’t into camping at all; they also looked clean and well appointed and in a fantastic position overlooking the lake.
All in all we cannot recommend this site enough, we just wish we could’ve stayed longer but will definitely be back.
Oh, and no noisy children messing up the toilet blocks etc was an added bonus!
The park itself is absolutely immaculate. Everything is spotless and beautifully maintained, and the grass is honestly the greenest and neatest we’ve ever seen on any site! The facilities are also first-class – clean, modern and very well looked after.
It’s such a peaceful and tranquil place, perfect for relaxing and switching off. The pitches are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, so you’re never on top of your neighbours, and there are even some lovely private pitches if you want a bit of extra seclusion.
We also loved the little touches, like the chocolate available to buy – such a nice idea!
Overall, this site is a real gem – friendly, quiet, and beautifully kept. We can’t wait to return and will definitely be recommending it to others!

We stayed in the Glamping Pods which were very comfortable and surprisingly roomy. All that we needed was supplied and to a high standard.
